“Fitting for a carrier named after a milquetoast, do-shit who was never elected President.”

He didn’t hesitate to act when Cambodia took the Mayaguez. He had just become president and I was so proud of him.

Urinals are for cisgendered people and unacceptable in our modern navy, but they do have granite-topped washroom (head) sinks. So there is that luxury.

Aircraft carriers are sitting ducks due to new missile and satellite technology - they have nowhere to hide and nowhere to run. They are a massive waste of resources only fit for harassing 3rd world nations and for presidential photo ops. There is a reason the US Navy no longer cruises it's aircraft carrier group close to China's shores.

In the next major war aircraft carriers will not survive past a week or two. The only satisfaction Americans will get is watching its ridiculous, woke generals, decked out like third-world world dictators with their gaudy medals hanging off them like Christmas trees, try to explain away how stupid and useless they are.

I don't know about you but I was comforted by the Rainbow US Navy's announcement of its first all-sodomite crew where the rotor is not the only thing going “round and round.” https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2021/05/the_us_navy_has_met_an_important__and_historic__new_metric.html

What could go wrong?

excerpt :
“... while Biden’s military is quickly becoming an expensive version of a college dormitory, the Chinese are very open about the fact that they are working to toughen their boys because they worry that they are too effeminate. If these two troops clash, I don’t think social justice bitch slapping and cancel culture are going to be very effective against a Chinese military trained to win wars.”

a Chinese military trained to win shooting wars, as opposed to American military training to win social justice wars ... Nothing will go wrong ... for the Chinese military.

Gerald Ford was damage control officer on the light carrier CVL-26 Monterey. His actions during a typhoon and subsequent fire quite possibly save that ship & crew. I’m no fan of Gerald Ford — the politician — either, but give the guy some credit for manning up when the situation called for it.

Ok. He deserves an entire class of carriers named after him because he manned a fire extinguisher in a typhoon.

Well, he did rather more than that. And yes the Navy & Marine Corps tend to name ships after people that distinguish themselves, and occasionally that extends to politicians who hold the throttle on ship building budgets. (Frank Forrestal, Carl Vinson, etc.)
