To everyone who's able to look at the situation with any objectivity, it's obvious that the prosecution's case against Josh Duggar is air-tight.
Ever since Josh was arrested on child pornography charges back in April, his lawyers have been working diligently to create a shadow of a doubt about his guilt.
Most of their efforts have been rebuffed, and it now seems more certain than ever that Josh will be going to prison for a very long time.
After the judge in Duggar's case denied four motions to dismiss evidence filed by the defense, it was widely assumed that Josh would accept a plea deal.
The deal would obviously involve some prison time, but the sentence would be considerably shorter than the forty years that Josh is facing if the case goes to trial.
But amazingly, the deadline for accepting such a deal has now passed, and it looks as though Josh didn't even consider playing it safe by cooperating with prosecutors.
According to the Pretrial Scheduling Order, Josh had until October 18 to accept a plea agreement and change his non guilty plea.

A hundred million years in prison is the same as a hundred, I guess.
He wouldn’t survive one year in prison.
I for one am glad he is rolling the dice. Very few child porn offenders get off. Juries aren’t very sympathetic with such offenders.
Josh is foolish to think he’ll be found not guilty. His poor wife Anna is bout to be a single mom. Such a shame.?
No he won’t. he could have got only 10 to 12 like Jack Schaap now he’s looking at 40+. He will probably be in a Supermax and no..what do you call that? When inmates can do the nasty with their wives? So Anna’s baby making days are done.
Good luck finding a sympathetic jury.
He’s a POS. He’s very ‘sweet and pretty looking’. He’ll be popular in prison.
He’s putting faith in God? To keep him out of prison?
I don’t know if we know all the evidence to be presented in court. I heard some evidence is being disallowed in court.
You could call it conjugal visitation.
If he is innocent and took a deal it would haunt him for the rest of his life. Right Jamie?
He’s a smug punk who thinks that he’s untouchable. He’s in Federal court, not state court, where he will be serving 85% of what might be a 40-year sentence.
I put faith in God every day, but then there is stupidity. Josh won’t be found not guilty.
A few years ago when that show was in its prime, I told my wife I thought it was a ticking time bomb. TLC has a track record for exploiting families in these documentary style side shows and it never ends well. They destroyed the Gosselin family over contract violations because Jon wanted his kids out of the show. “Little People, Big World” resulted in divorce. Literally every family TLC touches falls apart in one way or another. After a couple of seasons it was obvious that 19 kids was using the Duggars’ cult-like fundamentalism as a thinly veiled commentary on Christianity and conservative values. It was inevitable that, with the amount of hate for this family online, someone would eventually dig up something on one of them. And they even took advantage of the fallout to create a spinoff.
Additional point: Exploiting Josh was the only good result of the show.
TLC is the modern version of Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus, just freaks and geeks on every show. I remember when it was actually a learning channel now it’s crap.
With that said, I knew they were fake and I knew after the Ashley Madison scandal that Josh was going to go down for something big I just never dreamed it would be for CP.
Me neither. I would never had guessed Josh would get into Child porn! That’s crazy!
First I need to know who is Josh Duggar.
“You could call it conjugal visitation.”
Thanks..that’s it. Yes Josh will NOT have those so no more babies for him to “possibly” molest. I say “possibly” because he did 4 sisters, a babysitter, women from Ashely Madison, he’s going to trial for CP, so who’s to say he would not go after his own children???

Joshua James Duggar (born March 3, 1988)[1] is an American former reality television personality, political activist, and accused sex offender. He is best known for his appearances on the reality television series 19 Kids and Counting. The eldest of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar’s 19 children,[2] Duggar was the executive director of FRC Action, a lobbying political action committee (PAC) sponsored by the Family Research Council, from June 2013 to May 2015, when news broke that he had molested multiple underage girls, including four of his sisters, when he was aged 14–15.[3]
Revelations that Duggar had molested five girls between 2002 and 2003 and had been a member of the website Ashley Madison led to the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting on July 16, 2015.[4][5][6] Duggar’s publicity woes were named one of the “10 Big Scandals of 2015” by USA Today while The Washington Post listed Duggar as one of the 15 most hated people on the internet in 2015.[7][8]
