We had a guy dump a truck load of trash on our property dropping his wallet. All our deputies did was return the wallet. A friend of mine runs a tire distribution warehouse. Two weeks ago during the day, their gate was open as trucks were coming and going. Two guys in van drove up, went into the warehouse and stole a bunch of new car tires. It was all on video - license plate, van make/model, close up pix of the perps, you could even read their T-shirts, see their jewelry, etc... - everything needed to investigate.
Two weeks later, and the cops still haven't even finished their initial police report.
My friend's attitude now is: "Defund the police - because they are useless and don't do SH**"
