Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins was denied Friday in his quest for a religious exemption by the NBA to San Francisco’s vaccine requirement.
Wiggins has steadfastly refused to get the vaccine, according to a report this week from the San Francisco Chronicle. Since the city requires vaccination for everyone at large, indoor gatherings — such as basketball games — the veteran forward will not be able to play in any home games if he remains resistant to getting the shot. It’s possible he won’t be able to play at a number of road arenas that also require vaccination.

Interesting. I think Andrew is Canadian.
ANOTHER lost job due to invented crisis
He is. I sort of follow the NBA. he couldn’t play defense but can score, definitely. Let’s see how this plays out because the owner and president of the Golden Gay warriors are either homo fags or braindead libs. Either or
wiki:
Wiggins played college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks prior to being drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was the second Canadian to be selected No. 1 overall in the NBA draft. Wiggins earned NBA Rookie of the Year honors for the 2014–15 season while playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves. In February of 2020, after spending his first five and a half seasons with Minnesota, Wiggins was traded to Golden State. He has also been a member of the Canadian national team.
The covid vaccine *is* the religion.
Good for him, if he doesnt want the shot NO ONE should force anyone to take it..but since America is now a Communist crap hole and this is all about power and control, they will take away people’s livelihoods if they dont get it
It’s not the NBA saying he can’t play - it’s the city/state government. That’s who he’d have to sue.
So no unvaxxed players will be able to play at Golden State?
What happens once OSHA gets its claws into us? Surely all NBA teams employ more than 100 people?
Apropos of nothing, I think I'll watch the old movie, "A Man for all Seasons", first time in a few years.
*For* Golden State, and only at home. The SF ordinance for all "staff" to be vaccinated for large indoor events applies only to players on the Warriors team. Players on the visiting teams are not required to be vaccinated, although they must be tested, stay 6+ feet from the public, and be masked up while sitting on the bench.
When the highly respected British statesman Sir Thomas More (Paul Scofield) refuses to pressure the Pope into annulling the marriage of King Henry VIII (Robert Shaw) and his Spanish-born wife, More's clashes with the monarch increase in intensity. A devout Catholic, More stands by his religious principles and moves to leave the royal court. Unfortunately, the King and his loyalists aren't appeased by this, and press forward with grave charges of treason, further testing More's resolve.A Man for All Seasons (1966) - I'm Not Threatened Scene (5/10) | Movieclips | July 15, 2020 | Movieclips
Thanks. What is the rationale for only home players needing to be clot shot?
If he's still getting paid even for the games he can't play, then he may have no need to sue the city/state government.
The NBA and/or the Golden State Warriors should be suing the city/state government in that case, since they're the ones who would be taking the financial hit for this lunacy.
I'm sure there are some legal reasons why SF can't force visiting players to be vaccinated. Honestly, I don't know why they didn't force this on everyone who entered a large indoor event in SF.
The belief is he would be fined by the team for the home games, losing a sizable amount of salary.
If they are entertainers in a covered venue, I don’t see why they can’t be included.
The running rumor is it is expected that Wiggins will be vaccinated. I don’t know if that’s going to be the case. Regardless of what he decides, life with the leftists in charge sucks.
Yup. The NBA refused to mandate players get vaccinated.
