A Virginia mom found that books graphically depicting pedophilia were in her child’s school as part of its commitment to diversity and inclusion — so she read from them, verbatim, to the school board. The Visio is riveting and should be brought to the attention of Mark Levin where it can get some attention.

This has to be the worst thing I’ve ever had to ping for the ARTH list, but it is beyond appalling that public schools are allowing this outright garbage in their libraries, and it’s inexcusable that someone on the school board is defending it.
Someone should be filing charges against anyone connected with getting this porn in public schools.
If some parent gave this stuff to a kid down the street, we all know what the response would be.
The fact that schools are exempt from the law is criminal.
The trick of reading these books at a school board meeting is to get yourself arrested for obscene speech. Once the board has you arrested then they as a legislative and judicial body have ruled that the content of the book is pornographic.
Then go to your state attorney and demand they be prosecuted for dissemination of pornography to minors. A finding their own actions will uphold.

The only thing that troubles me about playing their game is how quickly these people arrest citizens. And they leave them there to rot.
My family has dwindled to a precious few over the years.
My husband, my champion and guardian, was called home ten years ago. I don’t know how many times he pulled me back from attack mode. ☺️ If I were to suddenly disappear into the confines of a government dungeon, there would be few who would know. That’s why I always credit those who stand before demons as being courageous. So much to lose but so much to gain. God bless this mom.

These parents are brave enough to stand for what’s right at a school board meeting.
But, are they brave enough to remove their children from that school? If not, then they’re part of the problem.
The schools have been putting trash into children’s heads for many, many years. This one protest won’t solve the problem.
Hey we’ll still have government school defenders on here forever. It is the W Cadre of “compassionate conservatives” who think we can apply a little Christianity and conservatism to a socialist lump of dog droppings to sanitize it
To your first point…people not wanting to work. My granddaughter posted a great job at her business last week. She received over 80 applications and accordingly, chose six to interview today. One showed. Five were no shows. Didn’t even call to cancel. They were clearly fulfilling a requirement for unemployment pay. Just applying for random jobs as job search. Never showing up. Never giving a thought to what accommodations were made for the interview. Makes you want to scream.

If the Board say, “They’re high school kids,” then they don’t think the books are appropriate for high school kids.

It is because of garbage like this that I will not work in my field — and I have an MLIS degree.

The divide is between urban and rural/suburban, not regional.

True, but most of the Southeast is Conservative except for about 3 or 4 cities. I think the folks in those urban areas will quickly find themselves on very lonely islands.
God is angry at us, because we allow such filth like this to be taught to our children in Schools. Instead of forcing our children to read the Bible, we put them in schools that not only make a mockery of Christ, but we allow these schools to make pornography available to them.
It’s just my opinion, but any Christian who makes excuses why they will not or cannot homeschool their children are saying they approve of the evil indoctrination that is taking place with their very souls. Every parant can homeschool, even if it means you get together with other parents to makle it happen.
Parents in those high schools need to withdraw their children yesterday. I don’t know what to say!
