Talk about ‘kicking over a can of worms”! Big fish in a small pond, family heritage and a lawyer with a 20 year drug habit and multiple associated homicides including wife and son!
I date myself but this looks like a South Carolina version of “In Cold Blood” meets “Peyton Place”! Satan is laughing in delight!
Part of the tale is tragic, yet some is hilarious. I wish Pat Conroy were alive to write it. It’s a compelling story. I’m thoroughly hooked.
If only there were a way to put Murdaugh and Laundrie in the same cell.

I don’t know. Animals are quite evil to their prey (no regard for letting them live long enough to see their grandchildren grow up or to collect Social Security). With money we can invent and make things, one of them being a firearm, which notches-down human predators, like bears, a bit.
