That's what they do. I remember during the search in 2001 for that missing young woman in D.C., Chandra Levy, networks like CNN, MSNBC, and Fox were covering the story literally 24/7 for months. When 9/11 happened, the Chandra Levy story instantly vanished. It was 24/7 coverage of the attacks from that moment on. Months later I believe her body was found.
