CDC moving the goalposts again by changing definitions. Here is the current CDC web definition of vaccination:
https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vac-gen/imz-basics.htm
Here is the side by side comparison which shows what used to be the definition:

You are now protected from a something instead of immune to it.. so vaccinations no longer vaccinate. Masks, social distancing, and sitting at home by yourself, can now all be considered vaccinations??.

Welcome to Free Republic Vidmonster.
With the discussion of vaccine passports and such, I find it interesting that ‘immunization’ comes SOLELY from vaccination. No mention of natural immunity nor immunity from prior infection.

The CDC has changed their definition of vaccines-—
1. CDC removed-— “protecting the person from the disease”
2. CDC changed-— “to produce immunity” to “to produce protection”
CDC Official Chart indicates that the Wuhan Flu, and the current Delta variant has peaked and is in rapid decline.
My suggestion for viewing this CDC chart is to notice on the x axis, or the bottom horizonal axis, you can slide the date to view the past month or so to see the bars more clearly and the downward trend:https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#trends_dailycases

Define “Protection”
To the CDC, I’m sure, it means whatever they say it means.
“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty. “which is to be master—that’s all.”.
vaccination is not the same as immunization
Immunization does not require vaccination.
