Have you checked why the ivermectin used to treat horses is dangerous for humans? There has to be a good reason.
“Have you checked why the ivermectin used to treat horses is dangerous for humans?”
I have not seen that it is dangerous for humans unless the dose is too large. Anything will kill given a large enough dose.

There are two reasons.
1. formulations that have something in them other than ivermectin and inert, safe-for-humans substances
2. people taking an entire tube of the safe stuff
That’s it.
It’s easy to find the stuff that is just ivermectin and filler. The fillers are well known and already safe for humans.
It’s easy to take a proper dose. The tube has a marked plunger. Doses PER POUND OF WEIGHT for humans and horses ARE THE SAME. But you probably don’t weight 1250 pounds, which is what the package clearly states that it will treat. If you weigh 250 pounds, start with 1/5 tube. The government could make this entirely safe by listing exactl product names (e.g. Duramectin) and showing you how much to use how often.
Look carefully at most of the warnings. They are about overdosing.
You are welcome.
