Charleston, WV — West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice shared alarming news in his COVID-19 press briefing on August 23, 2021. And while the small state’s local news is barely a blip on the radar of larger networks, the contents should alarm vaccine advocates everywhere.
During the first weeks of the vaccine rollout, West Virginia won gold stars from experts everywhere for its commendable vaccination rate which nearly doubled the national rate. Programs targeting the elderly and at-risk populations were going above and beyond the call of duty. And for younger populations in the state which suffers from poverty and rampant drug use, the vaccine incentives were particularly effective.
However, as vaccines became more readily available and the gentle nudges became all-out shoves, vaccine rates have leveled off. Currently, they stand at 46% of residents having received at least one dose and 39% being fully vaccinated.
Going back to Gov. Justice’s remarks in his briefing, he expressed extreme concern for the latest rates of infection and COVID related deaths stating…

It will be interesting to see if the booster shot helps or harms the fully vaccinated going forward.
Also, there’s apparently a new variant that’s more easily spread than the Delta variant.
Will that require another booster?…
As the old saying goes, it’s the definition of insanity.
Beats me.
Just attempting to be non biased so I get peoples honest replies.
I’m never going to get the “vaccine”.
I take excellent care of myself and have zero comorbidities.
Same here.
“Will that require another booster?”
Why not? The “booster” is the same shot you already got. It’s not for Delta, or any other variant.
The “booster” is just a little “boost” for you. To get your immune system into high gear, looking for little spikes, again. It’s the wrong spike, but it does get your system on the lookout.
Of course, it would be some actual improvement in immunity to “vaccinate” for the actual Delta spike, but that development would probably take years. Just like the original.
My opinion and understanding, of course.
How often for a booster?
Is the vax only 39% effective against delta because it’s a variant or because of time?
Either way, this is a dumpster fire in progress.
Coronaviruses and the flu mutate and circle the globe forever.
Antibody dependent Enhancement anyone?
Considering how much sicker people reported getting on the second one compared to the first, the third ought to be interesting.
How many of those who died of COVID recently in West Virginia were vaccinated? How many were not vaccinated? Just to say there was a 25% rise is meaningless. That could mean that the number dead rose from four to five.
The “press” and even the public ramblings of Fauci and the CDC are useless in understanding this.
My understanding is that your immunity does not so massively weaken. The “vaccination” is very narrow, however, so you get narrow immunity, based only on the spike. The Delta spike is different, so you really have no antibodies ready for it.
It may be, though, that your system is “active” and more alert to similar solutions, so you get some benefit. I think the same goes for getting a “booster” of the same, wrong solution.
I think what Fauci et al had patented, in all this, is that a “vaccine” could be turned quickly using genetic material from new variants. This has yet to be shown to be a reality, and I would contend, may indicate that the original took longer than publicly admitted.
I’m starting to wonder is there really a “Delta Variant”... or are we seeing a backdoor CDC/FDA Faucism confession that the vaccines are delivering FAR LESS than promised. But then I catch myself... they would NEVER LIE to us would they? Silly me!

Even if you could generate boosters for specific variants, manufacturing and logistical timelines would take quite a while.
Then there will be a new variant…
I think the biggest issue lost in our arguing is the mandated issue.
Most unvaccinated don’t care if you want the vaccine and the boosters to follow. Mandating anything pisses freedom loving Americans off.
Especially ruining one’s means of earning income, dining out and traveling.
Yes, and which vaccine were they given and how long ago.
Also, what were their ages and did they have underlying conditions?
These click-bait articles with their misleading vaccine "truth" don't answer those questions.
