My favorite part of this article and many others is the part where they effin “deem” something exists...

Genetic sequence tests and then statistical extrapolation. Example, take 100 samples, sequence them, see that 70 of them are Delta, and conclude 70% of infections are Delta.
I’m thinking they determine the variant with a method similar to that used in the South Park Margaritaville episode. They take a chicken...

In order to specifically check for the Delta variant, a genomic sequencing Covid-19 test is required, which certain labs and local health departments have access to.
They check to see if you have the sniffles and are not dead
to determine a ‘variant’ one must get a dna test of the virus itself. very expensive, very unneccessary.
