The natural immune protection that develops after a SARS-CoV-2 infection offers considerably more of a shield against the Delta variant of the pandemic coronavirus than two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, according to a large Israeli study that some scientists wish came with a “Don’t try this at home” label. The newly released data show people who once had a SARS-CoV-2 infection were much less likely than vaccinated people to get Delta, develop symptoms from it, or become hospitalized with serious COVID-19.
The study demonstrates the power of the human immune system, but infectious disease experts emphasized that this vaccine and others for COVID-19 nonetheless remain highly protective against severe disease and death. And they caution that intentional infection among unvaccinated people would be extremely risky. “What we don’t want people to say is: ‘All right, I should go out and get infected, I should have an infection party.’” says Michel Nussenzweig, an immunologist at Rockefeller University who researches the immune response to SARS-CoV-2 and was not involved in the study. “Because somebody could die.”
The researchers also found that people who had SARS-CoV-2 previously and then received one dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine were more highly protected against reinfection than those who once had the virus and were still unvaccinated.

Here is yet another dumb question: If this is so, why not create a genuine vaccine in the conventional way, and offer it for use?

What we are saying is leave those of us who have natural immunity alone and stop with your waggy finger scolding and ridiculous mandates
My wife and I, both in our sixties, survived it before it had a name, without doctors or pharmaceuticals.
It was the worst flu in terms of crap in our lungs we ever had and we coughed crap up for two months, but it eventually cleared.
You can't cough when they $lap you on a ventilator, so your lungs never clear and you die.
No Ingection parties? Too late- kbama already had one
If the “vaccine passports” are such a darn good idea, at least allow people with natural immunity to also get such a passport.
Allowing only jab recipients to get a passport simply tells me that it’s not about the virus at all. It’s about the jab. They really, really, really want you to get that jab.
How can you tell if you had it with no symptoms? I don’t want to go on record that I was tested one way or other.

Should not be taken by anybody under 30 or pregnant without consulting your doctor. No long term studies have been done to see if offspring will have extra arms and legs, blood diseases, or less ability to do math than a Democrat.
I believe you could donate blood at the red cross and they may provide paperwork to you about your antibodies. I suppose that might somehow get your test records “into the system”, but it could be a way to go outside the core US healthcare industry.

Why not?
Given what we know, for otherwise healthy folks, that serious side effects from The Death Shot are more dangerous than the bug, being in a good state of health and going out to intentionally get the ChiCom WuHu is a perfectly reasonable action.

On another note my friend in Los Angeles who has a YouTube channel with his 90 plus year old grandma ...
She got the Pfizer shot and got very sick and her arm seller up enormously and she had to be ambulance to emergency room and almost died....the docs had no medical explanation looking at her arm but to acknowledge the vax was responsible
After 48 hours in and out of unconsciousness she came to but with acute memory loss
They just brought her back home..
I know a ton of vaxxed people....most are fine....
A fair number have gotten it anyhow
I don’t know any vax personally who have died....but I read about them
I do know some who had a hard time with the vax...
The worst crime in all of this is we simply cannot trust the media political science tech narrative org to be honest about anything

The chinese vaccine is just that. But even the chinese admitted they didn’t have a 90+% efficacy rate.
But I’m betting that in the long run, their vaccine will be more protective than those solely based on the spike, but rather an inactivated ‘rona.
Is there a non-antibody immunity? I had an antibody test, which was negative, but I have been (through benign negligence) been having a sort of informal, slow-motion “infection party” for the past year and a half, and don’t seem to have gotten the virus. I got tested for infection last fall (no symptoms) and was negative then. Have not done a test recently to see if that has changed.
Honestly, why *not* have “infection parties”? At least for those who are generally healthy with no comorbidities or other underlying risk factors? The risk/reward calculation is narrowing for the vaccine even based on what little data on its side effects are making it into the public news stream, so more and more people are going to do their own risk calculations and come up in favor of natural infection over the Frankenstein’s experiment being touted as a “vaccine”.
Even a vaccine derived from the actual virus will need updates and periodic new shots. Coronaviruses mutate quickly enough that it’ll be more like flu shots.
