Seems silly
Let the woman see her chimp.....and it was a pet chimp before ....
We had a gorilla at our zoo when I was a kid
Big silverback....
In a cage with climbing gear and what not.....not enlightened environment like today
He would see us coming from a distance and start getting excited and screaming in glee for our attention
We had peanuts ...which they allowed for him....
And more importantly for him....cigarettes....he loved to smoke....
I felt bad for him.....we all grew up and he stayed there....
I’m more ambivalent about that today
I had a friend in Carrollton Miss who had a genuine chimp
And man.....that thing would scare the beejezzuss out of you when he was stirred up
