The shot might be cheaper but infusion would be better
I don’t know how his symptoms really compared to the rest of us as his anxiety level was much higher. My 78 year old father in law had a little trouble breathing the day (Saturday) after his positive test. He was a bit panicked so ordered the infusion. It (and a steroid shot) helped him recover quickly. Tuesday he was outside walking by himself and saying it was due to the Presidential treatment he received.
I didn’t specify- but the FiL had his infusion back in December. Also, his wife (lots of heart issues) had covid before he did and it was two weeks of what she described as a cold.
