STANFORD, Calif. (KGO) -- Stanford University will require weekly COVID-19 testing, regardless of vaccination status.
The guidelines were released by the university's Vice Provost for Student Affairs Susie Brubaker-Cole Wednesday.
Starting August 15, students who are living on campus, university provided off-campus housing or coming to campus must be tested for COVID-19 every week, even if they have been vaccinated. All new students arriving to campus must also be tested on the day of arrival and on the fifth day according to the guidelines.
Previously in May, Stanford announced its mandatory vaccination requirements for all students for the fall term.
Stanford Daily took the news to Twitter, saying it believes it's the first university in the Bay Area to mandate testing for fully vaccinated individuals. Update: Stanford appears to be the first university to mandate weekly testing for COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status, within the Bay Area. The Daily regrets this error.

Two weeks to flatten the curve-—when there’s a vaccine things will be normal
Two months to flatten the curve-—when there’s a vaccine things will be normal
Just wear a mask——when there’s a vaccine things will be normal
Comply to what we say-—when there’s a vaccine things will be normal
Vaccine passport because the vaccine works-—once all are vaccinated things will return to normal.
There’s a vaccine-—when there’s a booster shot, then all will return to normal
Spit or schnoz?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Test and eliminate is the best way to reverse an epidemic. Epidemiology basics.
Sounds really fun
..I’m sure a lot of people will like it cause they “feel safer”. So tired of everyone needing to feel safe. Life has never been safe.
They’re DESPERATE to find future “cases” so they can keep their oppressive measures ongoing.
I have used toilet paper that’s worth more than a StanCommieFord “degree”...
Does the vaccine not work?
Have we all been sold a bill of goods?
Inquiring mimes* want to know.
What does Stanford know that we are not being told?
*We may as well be mimes given how little the government hears of what we say...
This means they’re admitting nothing has changed from the “darkest days” or whatever scary sounding term they used last winter and now despite the majority of the population, and the entire student body, being vaccinated
Someone is getting paid for this.
Just say NO.
Actually, this should give some really interesting data on case rate by vaccination status. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them shut this little experiment down, after some pressure from CDC, NIH, etc. (Threat of loss of research funding).
It’s Cay-Cay-Caylifornia you would think the ‘wokes: would be demanding the ChiCom anal swabbing just to show their complete subserviance.

The even if in the first statement does not comport with the second statement.
