Our society is now geared to think everything politically,emotionally and tethered to government and media. This is not good for our future.

The real world is completely different. The majority of people pay very little attention to the government or the media--at most they are background noise like birds chirping and bees buzzing.

There are hard core political folks, but a lot less than you might think from hanging around political discussion groups.

Most people just want to live their lives and be left alone to do so.

And when they find out the politicians won’t let them live their lives and be left alone, many of them become conservatives.
