A post that relies on “comments” about what people are afraid of, is not worth reading.
These are supposed to be scientists. WTF has happened to this country? Even the scientists sound like a bunch of whiney kids.
I wouldn’t call all in the medical profession “scientists”. Obviously the researchers are, and the more education and training in science has the more scientific one is likely to think ( which is why you see a significant difference between doctors and nurses in matter such as this), but many at the lower levels do not think in a particularly scientific way . And the lower one goes down the list, in terms of qualifications, the more that tends to apply.
I don’t mean to sound elitist. And I do NOT deny that these people are well meaning people who are probably hard workers who have saved many lives in their own areas in the course of their jobs. But I’m not as surprised by this as you are.
It’s a group of MD’s and medical professionals having the conversation about what they have seen in their clinics. Sorry that I failed to make that clear enough.
