People with allergic reaction to mRNA vaccines can get 2nd dose; Delta viral load over 1,000 times higher

Most people with allergic reactions to the first dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine from either Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna can safely receive the second dose, a new study shows. The rates of allergic reactions to these vaccines have been reported to be as high as 2%, with anaphylaxis, the most serious kind, occurring in up to 2.5 of every 10,000 vaccine recipients, the researchers said. They reviewed data on 189 adults with first-dose reactions to one of these vaccines, such as flushing, dizziness or lightheadedness, tingling, throat tightness, hives, and wheezing or shortness of breath. Most of these adults - 84% - received the second dose of the vaccine, with about a third taking an antihistamine beforehand. All of them tolerated the second dose, including those with first-dose anaphylactic reactions. Any potentially allergic symptoms that developed after the second dose were mild and easily controlled, the researchers reported on Monday in JAMA Internal Medicine https://bit.ly/3iSeJLI. "Complete two-dose vaccination has become even more important with the Delta variant and we suspect there are many more people who did not get their second shot because of allergic symptoms," said coauthor Dr. Matthew Krantz from Vanderbilt University. "Our data suggest that most patients with immediate and potentially allergic reactions to mRNA COVID-19 vaccines tolerate a second dose," his team concluded.

Survived drinking hemlock the first time?

Well, the second time won’t bother you at all.

Could Yahoo News be any more in the pocket of Big Pharma?

From the end of the article…

Doesn’t get more Orwellian that that bit of doublethink.

Anyone who suffered an anaphylactic reaction to a substance is an absolute idiot for trying it again.

And I do not know of any self-respecting medical professional who would encourage such a risk unless it were literally a matter of life and death.

George Orwell called this. One heck of a warning, just missed the date by a few years.

Brandon Smith: Why Are Globalists And Governments So Desperate For 100% Vaccination Rates?

Pull quote: “The stage is being set, in my view, for a mass infertility event, and covid will be blamed in place of the experimental vaccines. This is why the establishment needs a 100% vaccination rate; unvaccinated people would stand as evidence of their crime.”

Anyone who suffered an anaphylactic reaction to a substance is an absolute idiot for trying it again.

Well I still eat beef but I've only gone beyond the hives once and keep an epipen handy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpha-gal_allergy

It comes and goes depending on if I've been bitten by a certain tick recently. It's the only delayed food allergy known. The reaction occurs 4-8 hours after eating so when I eat beef or even ribs for dinner, I'll take an allergy pill right before bed. I eat smaller servings of meat now, especially if it's something like ribeye. The one time I went beyond the hives was after eating some ham from a home grown heritage breed of pig.

My choices are abstain from all mammalian meat which leaves poultry and fish or eat beef and pork with care. I've never had it as bad as some people do and can manage it now. There are some people who can eat a hunk of chicken that was cooked on the same grill as a steak and go into full anaphylactic shock.

Unlike most food allergies, in some people, the alpha-gal allergy may recede over time, as long as the person is not bitten by another tick. The recovery period can take 8 months to 5 years

I can be good for a year or three and be able to increase red meat consumption and then get bit by just the right tick and become more allergic again. After a few years, I tend to forget about it and then eat something and wake up itchy at 1-2am, take an allergy pill, wait for an hour for the hives to go away and then I can go back to bed but I'll be wiped out energy wise the whole next day. I haven't had a whole ribeye steak in 15 years. The wife and I used to have ribeye night once a week which is how I figured out what the cause was.

But yeah, call me crazy, I voluntarily eat a food that I'm sometimes allergic to. I must have gotten bit by the right tick recently because I woke up with the hives at 1:30am last week after eating smoked baby back ribs for dinner. The ribs were really good though. Took a little pink pill, scratched gently for an hour and went back to bed.
