He had already retired - that’s why I said we dodged having his widow run for the seat. Or we’d have another one on our hands like the one from MI in the House. Dingell?? I guess some widows have run to get their Republican husband’s seats but the only one that comes to mind is Sonny Bono’s wife - but perhaps she ran on her own anyway. I know the “seats” don’t belong to the politicians but~~~~~~
