What it was designed to do is boost the immune system against Covid to reduce the need for medical treatment by about 85% and reduce the chance of death from Covid by nearly 100% Masks only help keep people who are carrying the virus from propelling it for several yards in droplets of moisture if they cough or sneeze. Very minimal protection from the virus for the wearer.
