Absolutely. The problem is folks have some idea they can drive the “speed limit” even when they can’t see two feet in front of them. They just will not slow down until they run into something. I have been in many of these and they are absolutely nutz flying along completely blinded.

Speed limits in Utah? They’re just a bad joke around these parts. Average speeds along I-15 in central Utah are 90+ mph. Average.

A buddy of mine in California told me about "Tulle Fogs" (sp?) where you couldn't see 20 feet in front of you. Said they were inching along and kept hearing muffled "thuds" (WTH??) They pulled off the road for a while. Later on they saw the results of a 20+ car pileup and understood that those "thuds" were the people who were still barreling past them at 70 mph.
