Meet Fenix, who has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, but it doesn't stop him from having fun.
Video: 3 minutes & 15 seconds
*animal video ping*
If you want on or off this list, please let me know.
(note this is now simply “animal video” ping, since I feature more than just kittens)
What a beautiful dog! Wonderful how he has learned to compensate and how much the “owner” loves him.
I showed this happy fellow to my mother yesterday.
He shows just how precious the gift of life truly is for those who want to enjoy it.
He and his sister are the very definition of happiness.
Please remove me from this list. Thank you.
What sweet dogs...
Love this! Thank you!
Removed.
What a sweet story!!
My screen is all blurry.
/must need new contacts
I knew you’d like this one. ;-)
Injured animals are very resilient.
I’m glad they were rescued and that they still see each other.
We had a rescue dog, age 1 when we got him. At 10 or 11 he had cancer in his front leg and it needed to be amputated. The cost of doing it, his age, recovery, etc. had us thinking. The vet said he was a very youthful 10 and would manage it fine. I was pondering the cost if he only lived another year or two.
The vet replied “Well - a year is 7 in dog years.”
I went “Oh! Right! Lets do it.”
The first week home we were questioning our decision as he couldn’t stand, was out of it, etc. Really depressing. But he came around.
About a year later he was out with our kids at the city park playing in one of our rare snowfalls acting like a crazed puppy running around. Some lady asked how old our dog was.
He’s twelve. “Twelve! I thought he was a puppy!”
Perhaps five minutes later watching him run around and playing he came back up to us running wildly and the lady exclaimed “Oh my gosh - he only has three legs!!”
How old did he make it to ?
I should ask my wife about his ages again for everything. I think he died at 14? I should ask my wife - but I’m within a year!
60? pounds or so. Australian shepherd, husky, etc. mutt. The Australian shepherd was strong in him. He would hang out in the front yard with my wife watching the kids playing in the street. He would just sit there the entire time keeping an eye on them.
I would come home from work and sit with my wife. The dog would lie down and take a nap.
Please keep me on the ping list. Thank you.
Adorableā¦
Beautiful poochie.
Keep me on your ping list forever !
Leni
Please add me to your list, FRiend.
Another example of how, imho, God blesses us with animals. They are hear to help teach us, if we would only open our eyes and hearts.
