LOS ANGELES - As the country continues its push to get more Americans vaccinated, FOX 11 caught up with an elderly couple who caught the virus despite taking their COVID-19 shots.
FOX 11's Phil Shuman spoke with 72-year-old Miriam Selivry, who – along with her husband, Nathan, 74, and two other relatives – all tested positive for the virus despite always wearing their masks.
The couple isn't sure how they caught the breakthrough case of the virus.
"I don't know how, don't know where," Nathan said. "But I got it. I called the doctors… he sent us to get the infusion… Thank God, [I am] feeling OK after two or three days."
The antibody infusion, recommended by Dr. Thomas Yadegar of Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center, is one of the steps COVID-19 patients can turn to minimize symptoms. Yadegar says even if you're vaccinated, you have to ask your doctor for it.

I saw some posts the other day from a Freeper going through COVID, and was in the hospital. He said the doctors were refusing to give this treatment I believe.
Insanity upon insanity.
Science has gone out the window.
Lets see, they wear masks and have had their COVID vaccinations, then they get reinfected and now they’re supposed to take another concoction for treatment.
This reeks like a 4 day old homicide scene.
The vaccine is not 100% effective. That means some people that have had both shots will catch the virus.
And masks are totally useless.
That’s not what Biden says. He was on TV the other day and said vaccinated people never get COVID.
I saw that video. It’s pure crap just like the blabbing 99% of the covid hospitalizations and deaths in the US are the non-vaccinated.
Cases are now going up at the exact same time they went up last year.

What the h@ll is it with doctors when it comes to covid? What's wrong with them? I just don't get it. Were they monsters to begin with and we just didn't know until now? With what we now know, virtually no one should be suffering, especially in the hospital, with this. We have hyrdroxy, Ivermectin, IV Vitamin C, high dose D3, antibody treatments, and so on--and doctors still refuse to give many (or all) of these treatments! Seriously, what the bloody h@ll is wrong with them??
I had monoclonal antibodies infused when I had Covid back in March. They made an immediate difference. My pain level went from a seven out of 10 to a three in a matter of hours.
The only trouble is, doctors set very high standards for Covid victims to get these antibodies. You have to have comorbidities. I barely got the infusion as I fudged my blood pressure numbers.

Well…duh! Probably because the masks 99.9% of the people wear are worthless and actually probably counterproductive causing much more disease than they prevent.
Even though they’re apparently asymptomatic or, more likely, presenting with only mild symptoms they’re smart to get the infusion. I understand there’s plenty available.
Vaccinated people should have to quarantine for a month since they are likely to spread not only the virus but the spike protein as well during the first month after being vaccinated.
And every time this phenomenon that is expected to happen happens, we have to get a news story about it as if it's somehow newsworthy.
I have a huge family.
Some are taking the vaccination and some aren’t.
The death toll hasn’t moved an inch.
I lost a great uncle right as covid hysteria hit.
He was 98. He had a very good life.
The Japanese Navy almost ended his life 3 times between 1941-1945, but they failed.
He was on 3 different ships, that got sunk in the Pacific by Japanese torpedoes.
That’s what I’d like to know as well. A hospital here had to be taken to court, twice, to be forced to give treatment to a patient. The family pushed for it. The hospital ignored the judge order the first time around!
My 89 yo mom isn’t either. She’s had COVID. TWICE. And had the antibodies.
First time was in Nov 2019. That was before they admitted this crap was going around. Only that there was an “uptick in a pneumonia going around”.
Second time was very mild.

Apparently the standards have been somewhat relaxed. The couple who are the subjects of this thread are said to be healthy. Between being vaccinated and getting transfused, this couple should be set to head off to Disney World.
