Blame government regulators (the Deep State) for this. It costs billions of dollars to "fast track" a drug. It must be demonstrated that the drugs are "safe and effective". When the drug costs pennies per pill, there is no manufacturer willing to pay this. Drugs like Ivermectin cost only pennies.
Ivermectin and others are provably safe. They've been used safely by millions of people. Are they effective against COVID-19? Thousands of case studies prove they are. But the government regulators won't accept these studies because they weren't "double blind" The drug administrators knew what they were prescribing. The bureaucrats don't accept this, so they won't approve the drugs. Blame Fauci and Biden and their ilk.
