This is nuts. And yes, we do have to resist in the US, and we have to do it at the very start of any craziness. Our mistake the first time was to accept the nonsensical, anti-human and inhumane restrictions at the start, which gave them time to consolidate their power. Never again.

Maybe we should forward the clip from this Australian lady derp to our governors, newspaper editors, Twitter feeds of our local newspaper, local NextDoor site, grocery store customer complaint site, etc. and demand why they are not pushing for the same.
How many cases do they have in NSW? Are they half or even more what you have in your area?

About a decade and change ago when I worked in higher education as a mere staff person, my deranged hefty phb-ette who was a tad paranoid actually told me I was forbidden to speak to anyone unless spoken to first.
I apparently upset someone somehow.
For any normal white conservative people, especially males who ever had to work for the hefty hag, they have my deepest sympathy.
No doubt she moved upward and onward.
Like the movie Bananas but not even remotely funny.
