Just this week, I’ve seen a couple mainstream articles that have ceded the while the Delta Variant appears appreciably more contagious than the original strain, it’s also less virulent (lethal, serious), even in the unvaccinated.

That reality, combined with current science that indicates the vaccine/natural antibodies further reduces the risk of serious outcomes in the Delta Variant, suggests the Delta Variant isn’t anymore ‘deadly’ than the seasonal flu, and perhaps not much more deadly than the common cold.

The evolutionary pressure on this virus - like all viruses - is to become less lethal in its hosts as it spreads through the host population.

Covid is a culling disease. If you treat it, they will probably survive but it is common to let nature takes its course with weak elderly people. That was the peak. We ran out of weak unvaxxed elderly.
