I am very confused about something.

We are told that filibusters are bad, because filibusters in Washington prevent legislation from being passed.

Yet these Texas Democrats voted with their feet, and created a filibuster type situation, as their absence prevents the Texas legislature from passing legislation.

So what exactly is the liberal view? If the liberal view is that actions which prevent legislation from being voted on are bad, how can the Texans justify their actions in keeping legislation from being voted on? In effect, they are filibustering the Texas legislature.

At least, if they are intellectually honest, Democrats must admit that the Texas Democrats are going against the narrative that keeping legislation from being voted on. And that this goes against their high principles as Democrats.

The only high principles the democrats have is to stay in power forever it’s why this is their last massive Marxist move to rig the election system at all angles.
We have a fake president and VP the party is making all the moves with the help of the media they know their party is on it’s death bed.
One can only wonder how much clout China has with their party.

First, Dems are not intellectually honest or honest in any way. Second, “but that's different” is one of their primary tenets so they never admit to lying or hypocrisy. Since the propaganda media goes along with whatever the Dems want, they do not get called on their hypocricy.
