I just love doctors and other “professionals” who blame mental illness for issues they cannot explain. When one of our children was 7, she began having terrible pain in her hip. She was tested for hip issues, put in physical therapy which caused excruciating pain, and called a mental patient. A 7 year old. Anywho, during one testing procedure, the nurses were so alarmed with what they saw that they told the doctors that they had better find out what is wrong with this child because it is real and it is bad. They did further testing and found a large tumor not in the hip the was the cause of the pain. It was a terrible time.
Earlier today, I was talking to a woman who had coronavirus in the last year. She was in the ER and could not breathe. The doctor told her it was all in her head and that she was having anxiety. Never mind the double pneumonia. It took intervention from her husband calling her PCP and getting him on it. She was on her own in the ER and hospital. Her PCP contacted a specialist elsewhere, and that person provided the necessary medications for her to recover. She is terrified of having the ‘rona again and terrified of taking the vaccines. She has a good friend who took the vaccines and after dose 2 went into anaphylactic shock. It took 3 doses of epinephrine to revive the friend, and she is still in a bad way.
The crazy policy of not allowing family to visit wuhan coronavirus patients allows abuse and neglect.
They should put on a suit and bring a bottle of oxygen. Or assume the risk if they want to. I’m sure even people who had a mild wuhan coronavirus and therefore are at low risk and posses immunity weren’t allowed to see their family members.
