In her teens, claims to be otherwise healthy, from the picture doesn’t appear to be a big, fat whale ... She didn’t need a vaccine.
It’s heartbreaking to see these kids having their lives ruined because of a needless vaccine.
She needed it to get/keep her job.
Now she has an actual health problem and is being told it is all in her head.
Look there is a reason people are not vaccinated against every illness on earth. That is because every vaccine has a chance of going bad. For most illnesses you are probably not going to come in contact with the illness so taking the vaccine as an unacceptable risk/reward outcome. The other reason is that the chances of the illness having an adverse effect on your health is minimal. Once again the risk/reward outcome is unacceptable.
So while it is probably a good idea to get vaccinated against polio, not such a good idea to be vaccinated against small pox.
In her case since she was in good health and young the SARS‑CoV‑2 was not much of a risk. She would have felt bad for a week and bounced back.
As a bonus she would have had a natural immunity that would have lasted longer then the shot.
What is really unsettling is the "Nah it'll be fine" attitude from the medical staff.
I have gotten LOTS of vaccines. Every doctor I have ever had, in and out of the US, has been very careful to tell me the symptoms of a bad response and that I should get medical help immediately if they show up.
