We have problems such as:
1) Article cited on FR previously: “I got an absentee ballot in the mail for my grandfather. All ready to be sent in. But he passed away 11 years ago.”
2) “I got an absentee ballot at my apartment. It was for a previous tenant. All I would have to do would be to mail it in.”
AND there is absolutely no precinct in the country with enough staffing to have someone check the true current address, the accurate signature, the proper name for each address to match with valid registration in the county and so on.
They just say for same day “registration” “go ahead today and we’ll check your information later. Go to station 4 over there and vote.”
