Samsung Galaxy leak: Phones, watches, earbuds appear set for August 2021 Unpacked event

Care to take a 360-degree look at what appear to be Samsung's latest foldable phones, smartwatches and earbuds? Well-known Twitter tipster Evan Blass is happy to oblige.

Blass, whose Twitter handle is @evleaks, served up some delicious animated GIFs for Samsung fans Friday night, along with the simple note "#GalaxyUnpacked 11 August 2021."

That would suggest, of course, that Samsung plans to tout the featured gadgets at an Unpacked event next month. The event would follow Unpacked shindigs that went down in April, March and January.

The snarfable GIFs posted by Blass appear to show the rumored Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 and S21 FE 5G phones; Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic smartwatches; and Galaxy Buds 2 wireless earbuds. We get a look at various colors and, in the case of the wrist-worn gadgets, a few different watch faces.

Earlier Z Fold 3 leaks suggest the phone will feature a front-facing camera hidden beneath its screen, refined rear-facing cameras and support for a "Fold Edition" version of the S Pen. Apparent design tweaks in the Z Flip 3 include a new two-tone color scheme and a larger exterior screen for when the phone is folded shut.

The Galaxy Watch 4 will reportedly include a switch from using Tizen to instead using Android Wear OS with One UI 3.x on top. Samsung will also reportedly include new SmartThings features, like an Apple Watch-like walkie-talkie offering.

I had an old samsung flip phone until my local carrier stopped supporting 3g (technically still they do, but my phone would never ring)

if someone would make a small 4g phone with tethering capability for a reasonable price I am sure people would buy it.

for 1000 dollars this one is just NO.

I bought the S21 Ultra when it first came out - it is still pretty pricy but it is a FANTASTIC phone! Prior to that I had a Samsung S8 but it was showing limitations which are completely covered by the S21 Ultra ... S21 Ultra is a remarkable phone.

I don’t want a Samsung phone. However, the way the market is going, there is only going to be Samsung and Apple or Google.

Everybody else is being squeezed out of the market.

The problem is that it’s a Chinese phone and must be assumed to be spying on you.

I suppose it could be. I’ll be concerned when they know more about me than google.

Seriously though, I’ve had this one for almost three years now and never any hint of trouble.

That’s an accurate review.

I bought mine along with an S9 for my daughter, and a galaxy note 9 for my wife. The F1 works as well as the day I bought it. Both of the gals are one replacement Samsungs.

The note I bought for my wife croaked as we were setting it up right out the box on Christmas Eve.

I pre-ordered my S9+ and enjoyed it everyday till last month.

I hated to give it up but couldn’t refuse the $500 trade-in.

It really is a good time to upgrade phones now. The carriers are battling pretty hard for subscribers and are pushing expanded use of 5G.

Sounds like a great deal you snagged.

My brother is in Panama City, FL. Verizon upgraded after hurricane but their 5G is short-range. He need to be close to tower to get 5G.

I have T-Mobile 3-bars at home right now with about 25 Mbps download.

WiFi about 90 up and down on S21 Ultra.

Huawei make excellent and well priced phones. I still use a Honor 8x and don“t see myself getting rid of it anytime soon. Without Google their new phones aren`t an option unfortunately. I don`t get why they were banned yet Xiaomi et. al. were not.

I have a tower less than a mile away so my At&t signal is strong at the house. I get around 50Mbps down on my phone.

I’m considering the T-Mobile 5G router for home Wifi, but I’m not sure yet whether they share the same tower. Even then, I think at best the speeds would around the same as my 100Mbps Comcast service since that is too far away for a 5G millimeter-wave signal.
