I voted for Donald Trump twice, but that has nothing to do with my hesitancy to get the vaccine. I'm a Christian, and that has nothing to do with it, either. Even the fact that I had COVID and should be immune doesn't matter to me. My reason is based on science and science alone. It's still an experimental vaccine; it doesn't have FDA approval; and although mRNA vaccines have been studied for years, they were not used before.
My biggest fear of the vaccine is that I can't get any information about why mRNA vaccines were not used before COVID. I can Google plenty of information about how wonderful the vaccine is, but I can't find anything at all about why mRNA vaccines were not approved for human trials before.
There is a lot of invective directed at people who are hesitant about getting the vaccine. I have been called a murderer for being hesitant, and I have been accused of refusing to get the vaccine because of my political leanings. I've also been called a religious fanatic. I don't think asking about the science of mRNA vaccination means that I am a Jesus freak, a Trumpanzee, or a serial killer. When I am called these names, it doesn't make me think I should agree with the name-callers and run out to get the vaccine. It makes me think that if I am being treated hatefully for asking scientific questions, there must be something wrong with the science of the vaccine.
Is mRNA unstable and likely to cause unwanted side-effects? Does it create an unacceptably strong immune response?

The interesting question is this - WHEN WILL THE FDA FINALLY GIVE THE VACCINES THEIR OFFICIAL STAMP OF APPROVAL?
EUA is not approval. There are enough people who have been vaccinated under emergency approval protocols. What is the FDA waiting for?

Any who have natural immunity should not get the injection!!
Not a well done article as I hear the FDA approval will come after the summer.
Which is meaningless to me as there is no actual long term study on this “vax.”
So, based on my understanding of natural immunity and my low risk, I’ll forego any injection.
People must research and decide for themselves. This article is not useful IMHO.

Get the J&J. Steer away from the mRNA.
I took Moderna and it triggered dermatitis and daily arthritis pain.

Besides, how about the creepy ads that let the folks know that they can enjoy regular happy life again, once they get this vax.

Remember - J&J was suspended by the CDC for 2 weeks because of several cases of post-vaccination THROMBOSIS
There clearly has to be health warnings regarding what type of person these vaccines are suitable for.
Your best resource for info on COVID-19 is your primary care physician who has your full medical history.

Stating …. “Preventatives were out there.” “Cures were out there” “and the numbers were screwed up to push the fraud.”
Facts?
Preventative supplements were out there, Vitamin D3, Vit. C, Zinc and Magnesium were out there for about 10 cents per day dosage. Hundreds of reports verifying the positive and preventative effects were out there from medical experts and being reported.
Cures for the sickness were out there, also from medical experts. Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine and Remdesivir. Given when diagnosed with the Covid it is generally gone within a week.
And the “NUMBERS?” - Look at the tragedy of thousands of sick people placed into senior living and nursing homes where so many more would knowingly become infected and die. So tragic that they passed away locked in isolation unable to have their family or friends with them as they died from the mistakes of those governors.
And the reports are out there that more money was made from each of those deaths that could be attributed to Covid!

Medical knowledge percolates out to the community. Primary care physicians do not have the time & resources to filter all the new information that comes out. They wait until the information comes to them in seminars or presentations. Best estimate is 10 years from first glimpse until most primary care practitioners are using the information routinely. Remember much comes out that is later debunked. GPs wait until the dust settles.

I know someone who had a bad case of Covid and was told by the doctors to wait 4 months to get the vaccine but she got a 2nd opinion from Dr Facebook and got it immediately.

A hospital is one of my accounts. I’m privy to some internal documents outlining corporate ‘training’ on how employees approach patients in regards to the ‘vaccines’.
It fails to resemble ‘informed consent’ in any way whatsoever.
Informed consent = “permission granted in the knowledge of the possible consequences”
Those who failed to adequately inform themselves (i.e., ‘knowledge’) in this era of technology bear full responsibility for their actions. Fear-based reaction is no defense in the face of statistics which outline a greater risk of vehicular death than ‘death by virus’ for over 2/3 of the country. Confirmation bias is no defense, either (demonstrated by any person muttering the term ‘anti-vaxxer’).
But those who promote falsehoods about the safety of such injections in the absence of a full suite of data, thereby promoting a fear-based reaction to the virus in defense of the injections, bear an even greater share of the responsibility.

You would not believe the looks I get from people when I tell them I had the disease and recovered, therefore am not in need of the vaccine.
People roll their eyes, give you the “you’re an idiot” look, or curl their lip to show disdain. However none of them are scientists or practice medicine, they just believe whatever they heard on the news or late night television.
If the writer has had COVID, that is enough. He is immune. At least for a decent while. There should be no need for him to get the jab.
I guess my question is who are these people discussing their medical status with strangers? I find it amusing that anyone would ask if I got the vax, or give a hoot whether I did or not.
Or, does the writer mean on “Twitter.” Because if he is affected by comments by strangers on social media, then there are larger issues.
