There's certainly no shortage around here! These things thrive in South Florida. I must've taken well over 200 already. Today was actually my record day so far - closer to 45 than 25, when all was said and done. I will only give them away, since they cost me nothing. To think that a small potted plant someone gave me in 2004 turned into this monster of a producing tree. And all organic!
My avocados are more gold-gold, at least on the inside. The skins are smooth and green, though. And they are Yuuuge, nothing like those puny lumpy black Caleefornia ones. They range from 5 to 8 inches long. I need to get a hard hat, or one of these days I'll get clobbered!
I love avacados. Could eat one a day, diced up with lime juice and sea salt. Yummy!
