Mason was a frequent speaker at the Convention and there are a lot of what he said in those notes. In this instance Mason was one of many people who recognized that America didn't want slavery, and Britain forced it on us anyways.

At least yale has one thing useful. I hope they have not altered, “revised”, nor omitted anything, etc. in their historical publishes. You know yale became a liberal scourge, etc. at some point just like most or all colleges and universities...
