That's speculation. To say one cannot see something vacillating between two dimensions is quite a leap since we don't even know if such a thing is possible at the very extremes of our understanding of quantum physics...or what it means if it is possible.

We have no idea what we're dealing with here...but we are dealing with "something."

Considering that "something" is invading our secure airspace at will and we can't prevent it, it behooves us to try to figure it out. And that is going to take more than just our military.

As an additional note, it has been suggested that the very reason the military has lied about and stigmatized these phenomena behind a veil of ridicule and obfuscation is related to the idea that this is bigger than just the military.

The military is engaging in a turf war that locks out the scientific community because they don't want to lose control.
