If Florida ever gets on the constitutional carry bandwagon, I’ll consider changing it up every so often. I also need to invest in a new carry weapon. I’ve been hauling around a Springfield XD40 subcom for years, and while I love .40 caliber for what it is, I feel like 9mm is a better compromise.

Check out an XDS. I don’t believe they’re available in .40 but 9mm and .45 are. Great little single stack pistols.

Mr. GG2 got weary of carrying his XDM .40 and switched to the XDS in .9mm. Much lighter carry weapon.
I sold my son my XD40 and 1,000 rounds of .40. He likes shooting it but bought the subcompact as well.
I bought the Ruger LCP .380 6+1.
