"It takes a very strong and special person to go against the “mob”"
The Desk of Donald Trump ^ | 6.29.21 | Donald J. Trump

“Jonathan Karl’s story on Slow Moving Bill Barr is made-up beyond any level imaginable. It is, in other words, Fake News! I lost confidence in Bill Barr long before the 2020 Presidential Election Scam. It was when he dismissed and didn’t act on the very powerful Horowitz Report, and instead gave everything over to John Durham, who has seemingly disappeared from the planet. Can you even believe a report coming out during the Biden Administration? We caught them but unfortunately didn’t have an Attorney General who was capable of acting and wouldn’t go against his friends in Washington, D.C. Barr was a “swamp creature” who was devastated when the Radical Left wanted to impeach him. He, and other RINOs (you see it all the time!), always fold. If he becomes “less” for President Trump, maybe they will leave him alone. It takes a very strong and special person to go against the “mob”. Bill Barr was not that person. Despite evidence of tremendous Election Fraud, he just didn’t want to go there. He was afraid, weak, and frankly, now that I see what he is saying, pathetic. The facts are rapidly coming out in States and Courts about the 2020 Presidential Election Scam, and let’s see if Bill Barr, a man who was unable to handle the pressure, was correct? The answer will be a resounding, NO!”

President Trump should go on record with a pledge never to use nuclear weapons against the People of the United States.

At least two Democrat politicians — including the current President — have made thinly-veiled threats to do so.

From the Desk of FlipWilson:

Then, why did you hire him? You knew he was a DC insider and you knew what the Swamp was trying to do to you. So why turn to a member in good standing and expect any different result?

Same with Fauci.

President Trump- magnificent job at America First and delivering. But you needed a faster learning curve in what you were up against.

Hindsight is a great thing. Hopefully Trump learns from all of the bad hires, and his second term will see much better people.

Too bad the only thing you are capable of doing is biting the ankles of the one man who actually did and is doing something. Perhaps you can enlighten us with who Trump could have picked that the gopE senate would have approved.

yeah, I agree. It’s not like he didn’t know what he was up against. Love me some Trump, but he’s his own worst enemy. If he really cleaned out the swamp, things would be radically different.

Partly because nobody else would take the job and/or could get approved by the senate.

This is why the USA is in such terrible danger. The swamp has simply just swallowed up everyone and everything, not just in DC, but most of the coasts and most major cities and approaching half of state capitals.

Trump lacks the courage of his convictions when it comes to high post hiring decisions.

He fears history’s verdict were he to fail to hire based on pedigree+resum and just go with the less than ideally qualified individual but with whom he is most sympatico.

He could have left the acting AG in place. Trying to appease a GOPe anything was a losing game,

>> Faster learning curve...

Virtually everyone in DC betrayed him including the FBI. So the pickins were slim.

And what did the acting DOJ accomplish? He did not even touch the russia investigation in any way. At least barr put an end to that.

Re. Slim pickings

Agree. But I am reminded of that Scene in the Untouchables when Ness can’t trust anyone. Connery takes him straight to the Academy and says “What do you do when the apples in the barrel are rotten? You go straight to the tree.”

Point made, point taken. But never forget that he got mired in quicksand the day he took office because of the Russia probe. After that, all moves against DOJ and intel bureaus were automatically "obstruction". And filling those office vacancies had to be people who either didn't need Senate confirmation, or already had it.

So I cut him a lot of slack on his limited supply of competent personnel.

Sure, because by his own admission later he was asked to leave it until a new AG was appointed.

Oh, I am. NOT saying from Day One he should have been on this. But once he saw the lengths the Deep State would go to to try and frame him in inventing that fiction. Maybe then.

With regard to Fauci- Certainly, after the Ukraine heresay/opinion impeachment. He was impeached based on heresay and opinion of low level bureaucrats who accused Trump of the crime of “not doing things they way they felt proper.”

After that, I would not have trusted on damn thing coming from the Deep State.

Could have appointed Rudy as AG in 2017, then.

Yes, but a lot of that was due to choosing "The Great Recuser" Jeff Sessions as AG. I guess Trump did not expect to see the level of perfidy that exists in DC. He wanted to drain the swamp, but many of the people who were supposed to be helping were swamp creatures. There is no way a long drawn out saga like "Russia" would have occurred under Obama/Holder. Holder would have told people to kiss his ass if they suggested he recuse himself.
