Trump’s biggest mistake while in office was NOT firing every single military officer appointed/promoted by Obama.
He should have known then what was coming. The insurrection act was NOT enough. Trump thought the military had his back.
I think the military pulled a Lucy vs Charlie brown fake out on Trump as a result.
It seemed the
“Insurrection Act”
Was Trump’s Ace
in the Hole.
“Trump’s biggest mistake while in office was NOT firing every single military officer appointed/promoted by Obama.”
Obama was true to his word when he promised a “fundamental transformation” of America. All throughout the unelected government and military Obama fired people and replaced them with good communists.
I agree, not cleaning house in the military was a mistake, but there is only so much one man can do.
Trump seemed to believe that the power of the President was real, regardless of how much the deep-state hated him. He also believed his personality could overcome them.
I realize too he couldn't blow it all up, out of concern for stability of the country.
I would assume that literally every officer in every branch was promoted at some time during the 8 years Obama was in office. You want a military without any officers at all?
The corrupt, dastardly democrats kept President Trump on his back foot for his entire term.
After the initial attempts to overturn the election,
they sought to destroy Trump by attacking Gen Flynn et. al.
there was the interminable Mueller ‘investigation’
followed by the first fake impeachment attempt.
and then something else.
and then the second fake impeachment attempt.
If Trump had fired more than just Comey - what would they have done?
