It would be helpful to know what kind of diet these people followed. High fat, low carb diets seem to be good for almost everyone. My mother died of Alzheimer’s; she ate very little of anything, but liked candy. Other than that, she ate almost no carbs or fat. Just a little candy would deaden her appetite, which was what she spent her life doing. Was bulimic throughout childhood, anorexic as an adult. And continuously depressed and anxious, with frequent panic attacks. I’ve inherited some of the anxiety and depression, but instead of anorexia or bulimia, I overeat, especially carbs. I’ve started back on the keto diet, to see if it improves my arthritis. I’m beginning to think keto will fix almost anything.
“High fat, low carb diets seem to be good for almost everyone.”
