I've traveled quite a bit in Africa. Although my travels don't make me an expert on the continent or its people I have learned one or two things. Most importantly,IMO,I've learned that most of the “Africans” I encountered there would,if allowed to settle here, work harder,be more cognizant of the rules and be more grateful than are all-too-many of our so called “African Americans”.

I’ve worked with a bunch of immigrants from central African nations. Almost all of them think American Blacks are spoiled and lazy.

I worked with 25-30 black people in my career in IT (I just retired about 20 minutes ago). My experience was that there were obvious affirmative action hires as well as really good and intelligent workers. But with one exception, every single one that was good ad what they did was born and raised outside the US.

With the one exception, those who came from the US black culture were borderline (or literal) incompetent.
