JUST ONCE I’d love someone on the left that keeps saying the improvements recently made to voting laws in various R states are voter “suppression” to explain clearly HOW.
It is NOT voter suppression to require an id to vote. (As we all know, the “For the People” - aka “For the Democrat Politicians” act would have made requiring id illegal in every single US State). And depending on what poll you believe, either 72% or 80% of Americans - INCLUDING DEMS - believe people should have an id to vote.
This bill needed to die a horrible death. We appear to have a reprieve for now. Let’s hope it stays dead and buried, because it would basically enshrine election fraud on a national basis if ever passed.
