Those on the side of the junta were saying that the corruption she engaged in was rigging the election with the help of Soros or people like him.
For her to get accused of some small potatoes real estate finagling is rather suspicious.
Either the junta doesn't have the technical expertise to root out the election corruption and "discovered" another reason to keep her restrained, or they never had a real reason to suspect her in the first place.
