A Florida high school halted the distribution of its yearbook over a section dedicated to the Black Lives Matter movement.
David Fleischer, who is the yearbook adviser at West Broward High School in Pembroke Pines, said the students were told that they had to stop handing out the yearbooks on Friday to allow school officials to review concerns about two pages that covered the racial justice movement, CNN reported.
“I found out that it was because there were some complaints from teachers and from parents about the content of the BLM page,” Fleischer told the outlet.
“That it didn’t seem objective, there were no opposing views. They mentioned the fact that we should have had, or could have included, something like Blue Lives Matter, All Lives Matter.”
Fleischer said he wrote an email on Monday to his colleagues to explain that “not every story has, or should include, an opposing viewpoint.”
“Stating ‘All Lives Matter’ is equivalent to stating ‘all houses matter’ when one in the neighborhood is on fire,” he reportedly wrote. “Advocating for one group does not mean you are attacking another, but using a countermovement distracts from the discussions that must occur about how people of color are impacted by racism.”
By Monday afternoon, he was told that sales of the yearbook could resume.

White people built the USA .
Go live in your precious Africa, like the crap country Somalia if you don’t like the U S A
Oh, really? Tell me please, what "White Supremacy" means?
A section dedicated to BLM? That’s fine. What about a section supporting the KKK? Antifa and/or Nazi Germany? Faggotry and child abuse?
Go big or go home.
““Stating ‘All Lives Matter’ is equivalent to stating ‘all houses matter’ when one in the neighborhood is on fire,””
Interesting that they would use this as an example. House fires do not confine themselves to people of certain classes or races. The fire department should not focus only on house fires belonging to blacks. They should put out fires regardless of the owner’s class or race.
All house fires matter.
Seems like Fleischer’s subconscious has a wickedly ironic sense of humor.
Politics do not belong in a HS yearbook.
And why not?
Is there any slightest indication that the American people would either stop, attempt to stop, or raise hell about this?
The communists are living large and in total control...
This is just the barebones beginning...
When Americans find out, they will band together at Concord Bridge and chant:
Bow down!... Obey!... Snitch!...
What about track memembers who support transcendental transgenderism..?
“That it didn’t seem objective, there were no opposing views. They mentioned the fact that we should have had, or could have included, something like Blue Lives Matter, All Lives Matter.”
I am pleasantly surprised to hear that teachers and parents in Broward County had objections. I didn't think that was allowed in that county.
America was founded on individualism, and in a rational society, individualism has primacy over collectivism. Each individual's natural rights matter. Each individual house matters and each individual life matters.
Yearbooks, when most of us were in school, were actually put together and edited before they were published. The advisor literally had to sign off on every page.
Now they are cookie cutter books put together with minimal effort or oversight. Often times, students just upload pictures without copy. The yearbook company inserts the copy.
This is not to say that the yearbook company is to blame. It’s the complete lack of oversight in many places that is to blame.
David Fleischer should take one for the team and invite his BLM racist savages to burn his house down while he’s in it.
Anyone who likes the phrase “Black Lives Matter” but hates the phrase “All Lives Matter” is about as racist as a clean articulate black man working a 7-11 with an Indian accent.
BLACK Lives DON’T Matter.
ALL LIVES MATTER.
The yearbook advisor and school leadership should be fired. Poor decision makers.
