Correct. Humans are not an indigenous species of the Americas. There are no ‘indigenous people’ here. As I understand it, there have never been any fossilized remains from the Homo Group found anywhere in the Americans other than the ones from homo sapiens (modern man) that found there way here an estimated 13K years ago (or maybe somewhat earlier, if this story is accurate).
Do you say that about europeans? They’re even less native.
BTW- indigenous or native simply means first.
