You sound like my Dad. At 87 he is very healthy, used to teach aerobic classes before the CCP virus, is scared to death of the virus but not taking any vaccine, yet, and very proud of the fact that his Russian bride is only a year older than his granddaughter.

Main reason is my wife’s cancer doctor recommended it to her.
Her stage-4 cancer was diagnosed 40 months ago. With all the radiation treatments and chemo every 3 weeks for 3 years, her immune system is highly compromised. If I caught covid-19 and brought it home, she would not survive. Besides that my biology degreed daughter is involved in clinical trials and knows a lot about the nature of this vaccine, after getting it herself as a hospital employee she qualified early for the vaccine. She recommended both of us get the vaccine. If my wife has exhibited no bad side effects from the vaccine, I really do not understand the fear porn being disseminated here with conjecture of long term problems by the mRNA based based vaccine without ZERO evidence data of long term effects. Simply can not have any data about the future. The future is not here yet.
I trust our cancer doctor, our family doctor and my daughter who probably knows more than any non-medically qualified people posting articles about the future effects of vaccines. That is what psychics do, predict the future events.
