Decivilization is a very real alternative for our futures, the way this is going. Widespread disruption of service, similar to what happened to Colonial Pipeline, only with a more concerted and coordinated attack on several vital distribution services, such as telecommunications, electricity, natural gas and petroleum pipelines, rail transportation, and even municipal traffic management, all happening at a near-simultaneous strike, would be so much worse than a nuclear strike. leaving this nation laid bare for any army that wants to mount an invasion being given the green light.
