Heading is misleading. Florida already had restrictions on localities. This allows:

Yeh, so far DeSantis is my choice for 2024 GOP POTUS candidate. The trick will be to convince Trump to step aside and instead support DeSantis.
So you missed the part about this being a ‘new law’ expanding the previous law.

It increases penalties and broadens the old law.

I hate giving him up to the VP slot. I love him as my governor, but he could do the whole nation good as VP and finally as President to further what Trump could do with another 4 years.
