America's favorite tribute band has just released an original composition entitle The Speck of Dust featuring the vocal talents of Ksenia. The song opens up with very haunting Siberian Tuvan Throat Singing.
Leonid and Friends is better known for their spot on tributes of Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, Blood Sweat and Tears and others.
Sadly, Sergey Kashirin, their amazing Guitarist has chosen to leave the band to concentrate on Songwriting and his young children.
He made the right decision for his family.
I watched this with my audio engineer/producer son a couple of days ago. We both thought it was outstanding.
We saw them on their last tour before the current lunacy. Truly memorable concert.
For anyone who hasn’t heard Leonid and Friends doing song covers (Chicago, EW&F, etc.), check them out on YouTube. You will be blown away. Warning - once you start watching their videos, you won’t be able to stop!
They are by far, the best cover band I have ever heard
Same here, in the Phoenix area. Started late, but a fine show once under way.
If you ever get a chance to see The Lt Dan Band, do it. They are the best cover band I have seen in person, plus Gary Sinise is a great American. (They might end up being the 2nd best cover band you have ever heard, but they are very good.)
