Guns of April and Global War
American Thinker ^ | 11 April 2021 | J.B. Shurk

Posted on 04/12/2021 9:03:08 PM PDT by amorphous

War between Russia and Ukraine looks imminent. Israel and Iran are engaging in tit for tat maritime altercations. And China is ratcheting up provocative incursions into the airspaces and waters of Taiwan, Japan, and the Philippines.

Any one of these regional conflicts is incendiary enough to ignite World War III (or, more accurately, each one is capable of transforming the cold, hybrid warfare of cyberhacks, technology thefts, financial markets manipulation, and perhaps even biological attacks that has been underway for many years into total and unrelenting global bloodshed), yet trading markets and news media are largely ignoring what's unfolding. It's as if the Cuban Missile Crisis, the 1999 Kargil War between nuclear-equipped India and Pakistan, and the Soviet and Nazi Invasion of Poland were all happening concurrently, and the world decided it was too busy enforcing face mask mandates upon religious congregants and following the turmoil of Khloe Kardashian to care.

How will Joe Biden respond to these three powder kegs?

Biden and those now running this country are like monkeys playing with live grenades.

Stolen elections have consequences.

Anyone who sees the situation as being trivial or as only Russia’s business should study the history of Russia’s revolution and the long Cold War that followed. On average, people of our two most recent generations have much to learn about it. Communist and fascist expansionism is a real thing, and ignore it only at your peril. We don’t want to see history repeat itself in some horrible ways. There are at least tens of millions of lives at stake.

It’s not that we don’t see the seriousness of the situation or it’s ultimate conclusion.

It’s just that we know this is the consequence of corruption, the failure of the “Ruling Class”.

They’re the ones who have lost perspective.

Did they really think they could skew the game this way and not change history in dramatic and likely terrifying ways?

There’s no turning back now for them. The “Indispensable Nation” has been submerged, never to resuscitate. The only thing now is the inevitable cataclysm.

There will be no righteous fury on the part of a Free America to stop a new Donbass Republic, or help Kuomintang China preserve their republic. That America is gone, and the institutions who would do that are indifferent to it: Defense Secretary Austin will lead the charge? Air Force Chief of Staff Larry Brown?

Children with expensive toys that will go off in their hands.

The fell wind blows. Those who were held back are now free to ride it to their desires.

It will now be only a choice between complete submission or massive conflagration.

Except, it’s not.

I truly believe none of this would be developing if Trump were president.

Biden is seen as weak (clueless) and these actors know they can get away with whatever they want and the US will do nothing to stop them.

BidAn's Tuesday Schedule:

9:30 AM The President receives the President’s Daily Brief:

10:00 AM In-Town Pool Call Time:

11:00 AM The President pays his respects in a Congressional Tribute for U.S. Capitol Police Officer William Evans:

12:30 PM Press Briefing by Press Secretary Jen Psaki:

2:00 PM The President and The Vice President meet with members of the Congressional Black Caucus

As you can see, cannot fit in a single extra second for foreign policy, even if he wanted to...

What do we want BidAn to do... wake up earlier? Work later? Foreign Affairs will just have to wait...

Thank you for the thoughtful reply and historical reminders. It does seem that shortsighted and self absorbed politicians are committing the same, old errors neglecting foreign relations that Democrats and progressives before them did.

Sincerely dire. Maybe preparations for self, family and community should be in order, in case contemporary special interests hold our politicians to stand fast until the worst kind of “conflagration” developed by mankind ignites.

On the appearance of willingness to submit and consequent costs, our nation assumed that posture in the past before the worst of times. Interesting and concerning that we allow it to repeat.

Some nations demand ongoing attention. Otherwise, their dreams of empire and frustrations turn to madness.

Yes. He did speak softly while obviously holding that big ugly stick partly behind his back, as though he wuz a-hidin' it. An' he went right on addin' more ugly to that stick, he did.

An' now Biden, he's a-takin' thuh ugly off'n that stick and a-tryin' to make it pretty agin.

Biden's a non factor and the foreigners know it, probably quite better than we would. They refer to assets beyond what the media and internet can provide. We are being ruled by a committee that is compromised and probably even infiltrated to such a degree that decisions and actions can be comfortably anticipated. We are in very dangerous times.

It is disheartening and disgusting to repeatedly encounter the never-ending blather and continual idiocy of the neo-con warmongers who post on this blog. These numbskulls are unfazed and unmoved by the catastrophic repercussions of non-stop warfare that has plagued this country, or what’s left of it, since the end of WW2. We have been engaged in conflicts in every corner of the globe like a latter day Roman Empire posturing as the world policeman battling foreign bogeymen without, all the while that our own country has been rent asunder and destroyed from within. A corrupt GOPee has enabled this travesty to occur with no end in sight, all for venal profit motives, since they have not delivered security and liberty for the people of this fallen nation. And there are sure to be “Freepers” on this blog who rant and rave about how we need to throw ever more money we don’t have and ever more servicemen’s lives we ought to hold dear at the cockamamie folly of bailing out every tinpot dictatorship around the world as some kind of asinine solemn duty. GOPee Delenda Est!

I'm afraid you may very well be correct.

America will take serious military losses on a global scale and never be a challenge to anyone again.

Even if we go nuclear, we will never recover.

How will Joe Biden respond to these three powder kegs?

Executive order banning guns worldwide.
Executive order banning outdoor assembly worldwide.

That’s all he has to do... plus get a new box of crayons.

*********************

Exactly. While he was in office, most of the bad actors in thee world knew he would not tolerate their usual shenanigans. Russia and china even stopped letting their military buzz our ships and planes.

Now they know just as well biden has no backbone at all and wouldn’t stand up to a 3rd grade bully. They can do as they please and they know the greatest country in the world will just sit there and watch.

I saw almost no terrorist attacks while Trump was in office.
IN 3 months we’ve seen several.
We saw almost no mass shootings while Trump was in charge.
Several soon as biden got installled.
Russia is building up on the borders of Ukraine, I think it’s only a matter of time until they attack. Putin knew Trump would not tolerate that.
China is building up in south chin sea again, and making noises about Taiwan. I don’t expect that to end well.
While Trump was in office they were minding their manners.

It’s all going to hell in a handbasket. I don’t expect it to end well. There is a reason gun sales have been breaking records. A lot of people are downright scared. I’m stocking up on things I’ll need or can trade when it all goes south. Can’t get ammo, but things like canned food, coffee, sugar, batteries and rope are going into boxes. I suggest everyone start doing the same if you haven’t already. It won’t be pretty once the gunfire starts.
