Our flight deck should reflect the diverse group of people on board our planes every day. That’s why we plan for 50% of the 5,000 pilots we train in the next decade to be women or people of color. Learn more and apply now:

Airline jobs are not what they used to be, Pilots don’t get paid jack anymore, and it takes a long time or Military Training to become Captain.
Two questions:
1. Why? Just... why?
2. The people who board your planes include transgenders, oldsters, people with physical and mental disabilities, ex-cons, diabetics, people with drug dependencies - and yes: bawling babies (I can personally attest to that!). Does you "commitment" to training pilots who "reflect" the "diversity" of your passengers extend to that? If not: Why not?
Regards,
I have no need to fly.
Maybe they expect they won’t actually need pilots to help the robots all that often.
